Bhrikuti Pulp and Paper, the first   company in Nepal, was established in 1985 with the support of neighboring country, China. In 1992, Bhrikuti Pulp and Paper  was privatized and since then, it has been owned by Golcha Organization. The products from the Mill were supplied to the leading -consuming companies- Saja Prakashan, Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra, and Gorkhapatra. Sadly, Bhrikuti Pulp & Paper  was permanently closed in 2011.
